Surround yourself with people who hold you to a higher standard!
We can’t choose our family, but we can choose those whom we hang around on a regular basis. Jim Rohn said, “You are the average of the five people with whom you spend the most time with.” I call those people your inner circle. They are the friends and associates we talk to and interact with on a regular basis. They are the people you trust the most and share on a more intimate level. These are the people who have the most influence in your day-to-day life.

Take a look at the five people with whom you hang around the most. Are they uplifting and supportive of your goals and dreams? Or do they constantly put you down for your ideas?
If the people you hang around with are negative, whiners, complainers, always seeing the glass half-empty instead of half-full, you may want to reevaluate how much time that you spend with them or do something to change the dynamic of interaction between you.
Their negative attitude will not only keep them down, it will also bring you down. If you recognize these characteristics in others, take a look at yourself as well, to see if you are a source of negativity.
See you next week!
